Bala at Lipstick | Lovely at 40

That title of an old Roderick Paulatte movie still rings a bell until now, along with his line, “Meron akong lipstick, isang box! Galing Japan!” Oh why be grateful for “bala at lipstick?”

In life it is not about lipstick alone! Not just eyebrow pencil and bb creams will define me! Oh, I love makeup and I put them on to make me feel good, look neat and presentable! But that alone will not made me compose these reflections. In truth, it’s in the difficulty that we’re honed and motivated to be our best self!

I read a lot of books, write, reflect and have lots of good conversations with friends. There were so much thinking, insight building, heart breaks, reflecting about life, conflicts, developing social skills and finding purpose! Those are the bullets that has been planted in me. The stash of inner bullets are what helped craft my life, brace through life and do life with ease despite that life is bleepin’ difficult! I am pursuing life purpose with a bit of lipstick and a lot of stashed life bullets! Thank God for some lipsticks and lots of life bullets!
